Passover Worship Service

Apr 12, 2025    Apostle Dan Oglesby

Today, we delve into the profound significance of Passover, not just as a historical event, but as a living spiritual reality for believers. The story of the Israelites' deliverance from Egypt serves as a powerful metaphor for our own journey from bondage to freedom in Christ. We're reminded that just as God provided a way out for His people through the blood of the lamb, Jesus became our Passover Lamb, offering redemption and protection from judgment. The unleavened bread and wine symbolize Christ's broken body and shed blood, inviting us to partake in His sacrifice and experience true deliverance. As we reflect on the ten plagues and God's miraculous intervention, we're challenged to recognize the areas in our lives where we need God's deliverance and to trust in His power to overcome any obstacle. This Passover season calls us to examine our hearts, remove the 'leaven' of sin, and embrace a renewed commitment to walking in holiness and faith.
